EVENTS & VENDORS · WEDDINGS, SAOFA'I, FUNERALS, BIRTHDAYS

Find the people who make it happen.

Search Samoa's event businesses by what you actually need — a birthday cake, a tent and chairs, an umu for two hundred, a photographer. Every listing shows the date it was last checked and what that check was, so you know how much to trust it before you ring.

Everyday words and Samoan terms both work. Press “/” from anywhere on the page to search.

HOW WE CHECK

Why these listings carry a date

We show the evidence, not a tick

A listing can say “confirmed by the owner on 3 Sep 2026”, “seen hiring staff on 14 Oct 2026”, or “no evidence since Mar 2025”. The last one is left grey on purpose: we would rather be honest than look complete.

Nothing closes automatically

If a website stops working or a business appears in a government removal notice, the listing is flagged for a person to check — it is not silently deleted. A wrong “closed” costs a family real money.

Collected from the business itself

Details come from the business's own page, website or a direct conversation. Ratings from Facebook or Google are never copied or combined into a score; where a platform figure is shown it is a dated citation that links back to the source.

Reviews, this year only

A review counts only if it is dated 2026 or later. Anything older is ignored — not shown, and not used as proof a business is still trading. Facebook does not publish a year-by-year breakdown, so the number we print is only the reviews someone actually read and dated. When there is nothing current, we show nothing rather than an old figure that would make a quiet business look busy.

You can correct it

Every card has “this is my business” and “report a problem”. Corrections are reviewed by a person before they go live, and owners are told before a listing's status changes.
